Danica Thomas
Danica Thomas has a Baccalaureate degree in Psychology, however, her passion has always been to study Medical Coding because she realized there was a demand in this field. She attended NY Medical Coding Academy for 5/6 months and successfully acquired her license upon taking the exam on the first attempt. Ms. Thomas, subsequently got a job at a major Health Insurance Company where she is able to use her skills to review claims. Ms. Thomas emphasized staying informed with coding guidelines, she is not only able to help patients with their claims, but it keeps her in tune with regulatory changes.
