Professor Myrtle Walcott
MSA, BS, CPC, CPC-I, President/CEO has over 30 + years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has been a Director of Health Information Management at several acute care hospitals including Catholic Medical Center, Interfaith Medical Center, South Nassau Communities Hospital and Jacobi Medical Center. After leaving the acute care setting, Ms. Walcott transitioned to a Long-Term Care setting where she is currently employed as Senior Director of Health Information/Privacy Officer.
Ms. Walcott is a lifelong educator for over 15 years and has taught at Medgar Evers, Molloy, Queens and ASA colleges. She currently teaches at NYU school of professional studies. Under her tutelage and direction, many students have acquired their CPC certification and have landed jobs in hospitals, doctor’s offices and clinics.
