“York College Certified Professional Coding Program is amazing. The teachers are awesome. On my favorite teacher was Myrtle Walcott, she has made my learning experience very easy. Ms. Walcott’s was informative and knowledgeable in coding and she would go above and beyond to ensure that what was taught was understood. Although the program was 5 months, a lot of information was disseminated and you had to be serious and discipline to keep up. This is not an easy program and I am happy I remained committed. The first step is always the hardest, but once you do step forth, the question asked, is why I did not take this program sooner. Thank you, Ms. Walcott, for making my dream a reality of becoming a Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

“I work in a demanding industry and position and rarely have time to handle other things on the side. However, about a year ago I decided to get certified in Medical coding. It was a fast paced program, there were plethora of things to learn, but given my tight schedule it was quite challenging for me to cope with the demands of class and work.
Despite the challenges, I passed the Medical Coding certification exam in March, 2018. Ms. Walcott was instrumental to my success. In addition to the tutorials that I received from her, she kept reminding me of the need to add the AAPC certification to my baggage. She is very accessible, down-to-earth and responds to students’ questions on time.
