Gloria Valencia-Terra
Gloria Valencia-Terra is a graduate of York College. She currently works for the City of New York in an administrative role for over 10 years and decided on a change of pace. Gloria acquired her CPC certification in 2017, and after passing the CPC certification exam, she realized her strength was in teaching and began to help her fellow colleagues through tutoring and mentoring.
In 2018, she joined New York Medical Coding Academy where she teaches online Medical Coding. Gloria is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the coding profession. She is a member of the AAPC Jamaica Chapter for coding where she volunteers by assisting the Chapter Committee with the monthly Bulletin publication.
